Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra Could Stream on Netflix from September End, Know the Tentative Timeline

Malayalam superhero film Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, directed by Dominic Arun and backed by Dulquer Salmaan, has taken the box office by storm. Despite being made on a modest budget, the movie turned into an overnight blockbuster following its theatrical debut on August 28, 2025.

The film features Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead, alongside Naslen, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and others.

Owing to its massive box office run, buzz suggests that Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra could arrive on Netflix as early as September 26, 2025, or sometime in the final week of September. However, neither the streaming giant nor the filmmakers have officially confirmed the release date.

The film’s performance has been remarkable, already surpassing the ₹100 crore milestone in theaters. According to a review by Moneycontrol, Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra is the first Malayalam film to feature a female superhero and has emerged as “a phenomenal success.”
